    About Me I'm a RenFest nut who also teaches dance, does musical theatre, and karaoke. I have a three year old daughter with my husband, Josh. Josh isn't much of a Rennie but he'll go check out Hack-n-Slash a couple of times a season.
    Music My tastes are very eclectic. I'm in a band so I'm constantly looking for new stuff to sing. I love Fiona Apple, Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson, Aerosmith, Enter the Haggis, The Pyrates Royale, Lilly Allen, Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Raitt, Vintage Britney Spears (yeah, I said it, you got a problem with that?)
    Movies My favorite moves are Camp, Brassed Off, Gone With the Wind, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, Garden State, A Mighty Wind, Waiting for Guffman, and Chicago
    TV My favorite show to this day is still Buffy, nothing has completely replaced although Heroes has come very close. Nip/Tuck, Big Love, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords, and So You Think You Can Dance are a few of my favs. I'm a Tivo junkie.
    Books Harry Potter, The Black Jewels Trilogy, The Wheel of Time series, John Grisham, Maeve Binchy, Madeleine L'Engle, and Jodi Picoult.
    Likes Musical Theatre, dance (Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Modern), cats, reading, my Volvo, organization, making fun of my republican friends over drinks, driving my husband crazy, dressing up in garb and drinking lots of Cider, spending time with the babyhead and her daddy.

    Hobbies Did I mention I do theatre? Yeah... I act, sing, dance, choreograph, direct, and occasionally run a light board very badly. I also knit, read a LOT, hang out with Gwen and Josh, and, when we have money, travel.

    Huzzah to a great weekend!

    We went to MDRF on Sunday.  I'm very glad I didn't go opening day because I don't think I could have handled the 105 degree weather.  Sunday was also pretty hot but a bit more reasonable. 

    I'm picking up my new bodice at Moresca this Sunday!  Very excited about that.  Never really thought of myself as the "fairy bodice" type but it was just so perfect when I put it on I just had to have it!!  I'll be at Revel Grove this Sunday with Gwen and, if I get a sitter, also on Labor Day. 

    I'm very disappointed about the lack of a regular pub sing.  It feels quite odd to leave the festival grounds without "Health to the Company" running through my head. 

    Looking forward to Adventure Weekend or whatever it is they are calling it now so the Pyrates get to close out the festival at the White Hart like they should every weekend...

    Amen Sister. I think we should petition for pub sing to return. Why would they -do- that?! I guess they have their reasons...*grumble*

    I get to be at MDRF for Adventure Weekend, and I'm coming from PA. That should tell you how much I love the MDRF, since I could go to 2 PA faires or a NY faire. :-)
